Von kulturellen Organisationen wurde noch nie so viel erwartet wie heute. Sie müssen innovativ und integrativ, avantgardistisch und zugänglich, lokal verankert und doch global vernetzt sein. Während Kunstinstitutionen in der Mainstream-Kultur so präsent sind wie nie zuvor, haben sie auch mit bedeutenden Veränderungen zu kämpfen – politisch, gesellschaftlich und technologisch.

Mit Fatima Bintou Rassoul SY, RAW Material Company in Dakar, Sophia Belsheim, Art + Practice, ein gemeinschaftsorientierter Kunstraum in Los Angeles, und Antonia Carver, Art Jameel in Dubai, moderiert von Suhanya Raffel, M+ in Hongkong.

Never has so much been expected from cultural organizations. They must be innovative and inclusive, avant-garde and accessible, locally embedded yet globally networked. While art institutions are present in mainstream culture like never before, they are also grappling with momentous shifts – political, societal, and technological.
