Yujin Jung: Longing Energies. Ceremonial Recurrence

Eine interaktive Klang-Koch-Performance

Die Performance betrachtet Essen und Kochen als anthropologische Studie, Rezepte als volkstümliche Wissensproduktion und sensorische Pädagogik, die den Körper und das Gedächtnis als Dreh- und Angelpunkt für die Verdauung von Terminologie einsetzt. In der Performance erlaubt der Moment des Kochens einer Algensuppe den Teilnehmenden zu untersuchen, wie man die Möglichkeit des Zuhörens, Lesens und Handelns als Mittel der Metabolisierung romantisch gestalten kann, indem Praxis und Pädagogik durch eine intime Untersuchung des Teilens von Erinnerungen und Momenten miteinander verwoben werden. Wie kann der Prozess der De- und Rekodierung von oral history die Vorstellungskraft stärken, um Zugang zu Botschaften matriarchaler Gesellschaften zu erhalten und diese zu entdecken und mit Hilfe von Klangfiktionen eine alternative Zukunft zu konzipieren: Eine neue Weltanschauung der Natur?

An interactive sonic-cook performance

The performance considers food and cooking as an anthropological study, recipes as vernacular knowledge production and sensorial pedagogies implementing the body and memory as a fulcrum for digesting terminology. In the performance, the moment of cooking seaweed soup allows participants to examine how to romance the possibility of listening, reading, and doing as a means of metabolising, braiding practice and pedagogy together through an intimate inquiry of sharing the memories and moments. How does the decoding and re-coding process of oral history reinforce the power of imagination in order to access and discover distinct messages from matriarchal societies, conceiving an alternative future with sonic fiction: A new worldview of nature?
